@peterwong4779 We've seen your Siberian teddy bear in action.

Hmm, Napoleon is considered the greatest military leader of all time. Zhukov sometimes makes top 10 lists, but not nearly always.

@viralkenyan6249 Shadow boxing with a pretend adversary is heroic now? No-one's respecting Russia right now -- or otherwise. Russia is an international pariah. The UN couldn't have been clearer on the matter.

@luciusdomitiusaurelianus1024 Duh, you don't know your 'then' from your 'than', to say nothing of '[sic]'. Anyone with an academic education would know the difference.

@maxmd113 Hmm, the Dutch chose Surinam over New York. Hindsight is always easier than foresight.
4
@denisgorjunov Don't cherry-pick. Napoleon's overall score against Russia is a tie.

@luciusdomitiusaurelianus1024 "I'm more educated and well-read then [sic] you"... Say no more, Mr. Academicus.

@dmitrykorovnikov2035 Napoleon's disastrous Russian Campaign was not so much a heroic Russian victory as a logistical failure on Napoleon's part. It does serve as a nice example of a defensive victory, however, like the one that we will witness in Ukraine, when Russia finally withdraws with its tail firmly tucked between the legs. You'll ask for peace terms, which won't be favourable to Russia. For your info, practically the whole of Europe went to war against Napoleon, including some of my forebears. Pretending that Napoleon led Europe in a crusade against Russia is just too ludicrous for words. What do they teach you in school?

I was about to write how the tables have turned, but come to think of it, Russia was right there, arm-in-arm with Germany, both invading Poland as per their infamous mutual non-agression pact (read: aggression pact) when WW2 started.

@tombrazy12hunnit French fries are Belgian, Tommy-boy.

@eddastrohmayer251 Don't twist my words. UNGA Resolution ES-11/1, which qas adopted with a staggering majority, says that Russia should fully withdraw its forces from Ukraine. It says nothing about Ukraine having to enter into negotiations with Russia first in order for that to happen. In fact, Russia can just unilaterally withdraw and hey presto, no more war.

@luciusdomitiusaurelianus1024 Try writing books and having them published, too. Your would-be publisher (an entirely hypothetical proposition, I know) wouldn't be keen about your spelling.

@alexbukovsky4621 I'm afraid it's impossible to decipher the point you're trying to make, if any. Don't you wish the British Council still operated in Russia?

Let's have cowboys then.

@viralkenyan6249 Come off it, Russia is shadow boxing with NATO in Ukraine.
1
@oldskoolrools1353 Not by the British alone. I took several joint efforts to subdue Napoleon.
1
@denisgorjunov You're referring to the War of the Sixth Coalition, not Napoleon's ill-fated Russian Campaign. He fought Russia on many occassions, just like pretty much any military power in Europe at one time or another. Eventually almost the whole of Europe ganged up on the troublemaker.
1
@dmitrykorovnikov2035 Who's left in shame? We, too, fought Napoleon. You must be slow on the uptake. It's so funny, when Russia fought Napoleon, you thought yourselves a European power, even insisted on being recognise as such. I don't know if history just isn't your forte, or have you falsified it so extensively that you've lost the plot?

Teddy bears or gummy bears?
1
@eddastrohmayer251 Hardliner? The UNGA agrees with Bruno.
1
Huh? Russia was been threathening nuclear war for two+ years straight.

My dad warned about rusty razor blades. They give you skin irritation, razor burn, and ingrown hairs. That's Russia for you.
