  4.  @jerromedrakejr9332  The crux of the matter is that the Sukhoi Superjet demonstrably suffers from serious technical issues. That's a recipe for disaster. You can blame all and sundry for it, but the fact remains.

  5. You'll find that the other aviation regulators won't be as quick to declare the 737 MAX airworthy again, considering the many failings of the FAA brought to light by this debacle. Boeing's foreign customers won't take delivery before their own regulators concur.
