  1. Neither the Taliban nor ISIS-K possess UCAVs that could perform drone strikes. The Afghan Air Force didn't have any to begin with, and the Taliban repairing crashed USAF or RAF Reapers is entirely hypothetical. Moreover, how would they operate them? The control stations are on other continents. I do expect the Taliban to fly around in captured Mi-17s and Mi-24s for a while, but the question is, will these rickety helicopters be more dangerous to the Talibans or their enemies?

  3. Don't be such drama queens. There have been thousands of drone strikes in Afghanistan, and this one concerned ISIS-K, an obscure, isolated terrorist grouping that the real ISIS won't acknowledge. Even the Taliban hunt them down.
