@Mman. EU countries are vassals to whom exactly? Collectively, we are the EU, and if you meant vassals to the US, that would make the US the weakest of masters, having to impose tariffs on its underlings. Stop parroting clichés and start thinking for yourself.

@koushikdas1992 NATO member Canada is on another continent as well, but there transatlantic relations are only getting warmer because of Trump's hostile and erratic foreign policies vis-à-vis all and sundry. So, what exactly makes Europe a *vassal continent? I'm getting the impression that you weren't (aren't?) a star student in geography either, because Russia, too, is part of Europe.

@CK-jo9im The EU is united wherever and whenever it can find concensus. It's not a United States of Europe with a president with absolute or near-absolute powers, like Russia and now, the US. Still, none of that is an indication of the EU being a vassal to anyone. By the way, US imperialism is heading towards US isolationism, in case you haven't noticed. Keep up with the news.
