Russia faces exactly the same issues in delivering its gas to new customers as Europe's gas-dependent countries face in finding new suppliers. No pipelines, and where pipelines do exist, insufficient capacity. Russia lacks the technology to build them, and those who do have it, refuse to do business with Russia. You don't have to be a economist to understand that Russia is royally screwed.
