  3.  @Pierluigi_Di_Lorenzo  Opposition to NATO membership isn't exactly an expression of lurve for Russia. For instance, die-hard nationalist Finns insisted that the country could've kept Russia at bay without outside help.

  6. Huh? I find that the reverse is true. Whenever ratification was up in national assemblies, the Winter War was brought up. A US senator couldn't stop himself from waxing lyrical about Simo Häyhä as well, the deadliest sniper in history. The Molotov cocktail, too, was mentioned.
