@bl123-w8l Assad was on conciliatory terms with ISIS till Russia intervened in the Syrian civil war, under the guise of combatting ISIS. Sure enough, Russia had to be reminded constantly that it was in Syria to fight ISIS, since propping up Assad took up nearly all its time.

@iggymich Duh, the UN is hamstrung with Russia permanently in the UNSC with a veto. It's the same as with Israel and the USA.

Aren't you in the UN? Why doesn't your country speak up? That's what you should be asking yourselves first and foremost, rather than whining about the West.
