@UnionGunSlinger Don't lie. Putin has said no such thing. The idea of following in Norway's footsteps in having no permanent NATO bases and no nukes has been floated by centre-leftist and leftist parties in both Finland and Sweden. However, it looks like Finland prefers ambiguity in the matter, as in having a nuclear option, but not exercising it unless Russia ups the ante.

@glintongordon6811 True, Russia has friends. Belarusians, North Koreans, Eritreans, and Syrians. What percentage of the population, that's anyone's guess, because all four countries are authoritarian, with little or no tolerance for dissent.
