Russia used to trade vigorously with Europe, remember? And now it can't flog its gas to Europe, leaving Gazprom seriously short on moolah. And it's not like the Russia's economy is anything like Europe's, as in highly diversified. Russia has become so dependent on China for essential goods that we can start calling Russia a Chinese neo-colony.

@CurtisJeffries-cd5vu Russia, like all the other OSCE member countries, had monitors in the Donbas from 2014 to 2022. They uncovered no proof of Ukraine targeting civilians. Facts are a biatch, aren't they?

@piccadillyvision3761 Putin can still end the war any moment he wishes to. He just needs to issue a withdrawal order. NATO's expansion in whichever direction is a volunatory matter. Sovereign states can strike alliances as they see fit.
