  3. The CSTO -- Russia's counterpart to NATO -- is supposed to do the honours, but Russia's "special military operation" seems to have broken the CSTO's Article 4 (its equivalent to NATO's Article 5). Who knew? Well, Azerbaijan, I suppose.

  5.  @TrxmpBrownNosersBgone  Kamikaze drones have been buzzing around Russian-occupied Ukraine for some time now. RC model aircraft may struggle to carry bigger ordnance. I don't know, Sidewinders, AMRAAMs, HARMs, Mavericks and Paveways may just be on the heavy side.

  6.  @TrxmpBrownNosersBgone  What kind of target do you have in mind for the Sidewinder's warhead? The cookie cutter that it spews out would clang harmlessly against a tank. If you have aerial targets in mind, what would be the added value of such a contraption compared to a Sidewinder with its fuel and rocket motor?

  7.  @TrxmpBrownNosersBgone  Nope, the Sidewinder's continuous-rod warhead is only good for aerial targets. You'd want a fragmentation warhead for air-to-ground work.

  8. Russia could have avoided this war, period. Unfortunately, Putin preferred to embark on a foolish military adventure that turned sour from the very beginning. He's kicking himself every day. The S-400 is going to wait out the storm when a F-16 strike package comes overhead. If a S-400 radar operator gets it into his head to flick the switch to the on position, a HARM will be underway to show him once and for all how bad an idea that was. The F-16 is not for nothing the weapon of choice for SEAD.
