@chandanaik3453 You're disregarding the fact that Russia is essentially withdrawing from what it considers Russian sovereign territory. If China and Pakistan were to occupy Ladakh and Kashmir, would you also dismiss it as a 'no biggie'?

@JamesSmith-je7vf You're under the assumption that Russia can rely on an endless supply of reservists. Judging from how the "partial mobilisation" went, that's clearly not the case. The reservists -- if you optimistically want to call them that -- don't want to fight in Ukraine. It's truly a Vietnam War moment for Russia, only the number of draft dodgers leaving the country will be ten times that of the US. There is no long game for Putin, I'm afraid.
