  2. All the same, Israel is a signatory to the so-called Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons. Its Article 7(2) states that booby traps are prohibited, period. Even those who think that this falls short of outright terrorism, will still think Israel flouts international agreements with reckless abandon. Next time, when Israel refers to some international agreement to make its case, the hypocrisy bells will start ringing in the minds of many.
