@she825 I'm old enough to remember how the USSR was supposed to last forever. And then it suddenly imploded.

There's no Lady ATACMS in Ukraine. Hopefully, Lady GLSDB will make her their presence known soon.

@JuanCarlos-vr3bs Oh, there'll be Chechnya treatment in store for Russia. Chechnya 1.0 treatment, that is.

@JuanCarlos-vr3bs It's not about my dreams. Rather, it's about Putin's nightmares. He'll go down in history as the leader whose attempts at restoring the Russian Empire led to the disintegration of what remains of the empire. It's telling that he's trying to deflect blame already.

Putin is probably right about Russia getting dismantled, but it's the result of him pressing the self-destruct button.

@ramadankadriu5336 I'm more excited about Amberland, Ingria and Karelia gaining independence and joining both the EU and NATO.

Russian Federation is not a superpower and never has been one. It's a regional power, and a failing one at that. It's relegated to sabre-rattling with nuclear weapons, like the hermit kingdom North Korea.

@JuanCarlos-vr3bs You can wait for us, but it'll be the Russians and the various disenfranchised ethnicities -- effectively colonised territories -- that'll do the dismantling, "Juan".

Winning? Russia started its push for Bakhmut on August 1, 2022. It's still to capture the city. While that went on, Ukraine launched its Kherson counter-offensive, on August 29 -- a month later -- and ended the battle victoriously with the liberation of Kherson on November 11, 2022. So Ukraine took a city 4 times larger, finishing 4 month sooner.

The USSR bankrupted itself, economically and morally. After the ignominious Soviet-Afghan War, the Soviet republics saw the USSR for what it was and broke away. Now the same is happening to the Russian Federation owing to the disastrous war in Ukraine and the unavoidable economic collapse. It's as if Putin punched the self-destruct button in a moment of sheer insanity. Don't blame us, we're just enjoying our popcorn.

A year ago, Kyiv was surrounded. It was a close one, but no cigar.

That'll do, Orc.

@r3dpowel796 I highly doubt it. We know what happened to the airborne Orcs at Hostomel airport a year ago. The two elite air assault brigades involved suffered heavy casualties, with both losing their commanders and failing in their bid to open up the airport for Russian transport planes. Interestingly, a similar German air assault on The Hague failed in 1940, also with crippling losses.

You out yourself as Putin bot by completely ignoring the aggressor, Russia, in your pleas for "peace".

@user1qaz2wsx3edc Come off it, Russia and China epitomise crony capitalism.
1
@tin-n-tan I see geography isn't your thing. Russia already borders five NATO countries and, soon, a sixth. Putin is losing all right.
1
Because Russian "gains" amount to "any time very soon".
