Short-range triple-A has never gone anywhere. It's becoming more prevalent, sure.

@Mr.Clownensky Russia should take its "good gestures" elsewhere, to countries that won't resist aggression, as Putin was initially told by his advisors about Ukraine. It turned out Ukraine was just too hot to handle for impotent Russia. Rather than rejoicing, you should grow concerned about the mounting bill for Russia. I'm not only talking about the crippling losses in export earnings and the huge military expenses, but also, the upcoming war reparations payable to Ukraine. Every time Russia launches a missile at Ukraine, it's a double whammy for Russia.

@thornil2231 That's utter poppycock. Try this on for size: "Consistent with views of the country overall, confidence in Russian President Vladimir Putin to do the right thing regarding world affairs is overwhelmingly low, with a median of 87% across 24 countries expressing not too much or no confidence at all." Pew Research, July 10, 2023.

@thornil2231 Google "Pew Research Putin". Can I have your source so I can google it, too?

@badaasaab6694 So Putin has been shopping for new pair of elevator shoes. Perhaps he should consider therapy to overcome his small stature complex?

@osanebiuche7476 Oh noes, you suck at math. What is generally considered 'the Western World' accounts for 13 of the 24 countries surveyed by Pew -- that's 54%, not 90%. Feel free to participate constructively in this discussion by producing evidence that corroborates thornil2231's claim about worldwide love for Putin. As per usual for those who make bold claims without bothering to offer any evidence in support, I think we've lost him/her.

@kentershackle1329 Uh, wheat comes from the Fertile Crescent. When its cultivation started there, civilisation in the 'Western World' was still very much work in progress.
