  3. There lies the problem. Russia makes only marginal advances. It's been at it for 6 months, but Bakhmut still remains in Ukrainian hands. In contrast, Ukraine won the battles of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kherson each within a time span of 1 to 2 months. And these rate as far bigger victories -- assuming Russia ever manages to take Bakhmut.
