The Libyans got rid of Gaddafi. The civil war in Libya was in full swing before NATO got involved -- with UN authorisation. It should be noted that Russia and China didn't oppose UNSC Resolution 1973, which prevented Gaddafi from slaughtering his own people. Facts are a biatch, eh?

@erikt1713 The Mujahideen included the Northern Alliance, which fought the Taliban tooth and nail. But why bother yourself with facts, eh?

@erikt1713 Quite possible? The common denominator for the Muhahideen was opposition to the Soviet Union. However, what you're saying is akin to claiming that the Western Allies paved the way for the Soviet subjugation of Eastern Europe, because the two fought a common enemy in WW2. You're very sloppy with your tar and your brush.
