Why did she take the drug then? Of all Olympic athletes, the Russian ones should know the consequences of getting caught.

@darkmatter5424 You're missing the point. Why did she resort to doping and risk disqualification and a ban? It's weirder still if the drug in question, trimetazidine, isn't performance-enhancing, as you claim. It's not like anyone pops TMZ pills for their taste. There are, however, some indications that TMZ allows an athlete to train harder and longer. That won't go amiss if you're going to the Olympics. You seem more concerned about how she got caught rather than the fact that she did get caught. Weird, weird, weird!

@darkmatter5424 It doesn't matter if she dunnit or a member of her entourage dunnit. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the Russian state is still at it and twisted her arm. What does matter is that her career is being ruined. I don't have to be an expert in figure skating to figure that one out.
