By contrast, your writing is rife with mistakes, both in terms of grammar and spelling. Your seemingly uncontrollable rage aside, you seem to agree with my premise that democracy-wise, things weren't ideal under British rule. However, four comments later, you've produced nothing to show that things have changed for the better. I stand by my claim that HK has moved from bad to worse.

  8. So the UK failed to introduce proper democracy in Hong Kong, but did it also jail pro-democracy activists? Things weren't ideal in colonial times, but now, under Beijing's neo-colonial rule, Hong Kong is worse off in both respects: no democracy and jailed dissidents.
