Good luck trading on WTO terms. Your great saviour, Trump, wants nothing to do with the WTO. Maybe he'll throw you a bone in the form of a bilateral trade deal, but if Trump flouts WTO rules, the rest of the world will follow suit. I can just imagine how the economic misery in the UK will bolster the likes of UKIP and BNP. Now there's real Fascism for you.

@BigMeanUK The UK does make a sizable net contribution to the EU budget, but the main beneficiaries are the former Soviet bloc members in the East that draw heavily from the EU's Cohesion Fund in order to bring their infrastructure up to date. Since the remaining net payers to the EU budget aren't willing to make up for the shortfall, these Eastern European countries will inevitably take a hit. But hey, they're used to being betrayed by Britain. Churchill did a sterling job at that.

@BigMeanUK Your comment makes no sense. The Eastern EU members have agreed to the Brexit deal that's now on the table. Why would they have agreed to it if -- according to you -- it amounts to self-betrayal? Perhaps you're unfamiliar with the Cohesion Fund or how funds work in general. The EU's affluent members -- the net payers -- aren't eligible to draw from it, so how do we cut our spending there? When those who are eligible apply for funding, they won't exactly be enamoured with the UK when it turns out the fund has been exhausted. And all this at a time when you could use friends...
