@nirmalparakkal8005 India is more populous than the UK, but on a per capita basis, far-far poorer. Moreover, it's business as usual that developing countries grow faster than developed countries. Macroeconomics 101 says that the latter tend to plateau growthwise. It's because we're already at the top of our game, with less talent remaining untapped. However, we're happy to cream off your top talent, as you duly noted in the UK's case.

@nirmalparakkal8005 The UK is at the top of their game. If the Brits no longer want to roll up their sleeves, they've plateaued at a commensurate level. Public debt is a guilty pleasure of most developed economies. It's in no way indicative of economic success. NRIs still contribute to our economies, and many realise that they've invested their tax euros in free healthcare and free education for their the children, so many stick around for the ROI.
