  3. ​ @nigelsmith3719  Nothing that Netanyahu does to the Gazans next will placate the ire of the Israelis, who're already accusing him of disregarding intelligence and failing to prepare. It's a double whammy, too, because it's as clear as day that Netanyahu's brute force policies towards the Palestinians have proven to be counter-productive. If nothing changes, Hamas will lick its wounds and prepare for a repeat performance, if not from Gaza, then from the West Bank -- or both. The Israelis would do well to realise that the Palestinians can't be subdued any more than they can.
