  1.  @iusefacebookalso  Knowing the Russians, they've mined the front and the back of their lines. In WW2, the Soviets placed their defences not on top of ridges, but against the slope. That way, there would be no retreat.

  6.  @petersack5074  It's ironic that Putin's "special military operation" is showing more and more similarities with Napoleon's Russian campaign, which the Russians still celebrate as a great victory. Napoleon withdrew his forces with appalling losses. Likewise, Putin's Russia has suffered appalling losses. The withdrawal is still pending.
