  1.  @lester9448  If the US government were to rescind the plea agreement, it would ruin the whole system of plea bargaining. I highly doubt they'll want to go there.

  2. If so, Assange should've taken his chances in a US court of law.

  3. It should've gone to trial, if only to see if the charges against Assange had any merit. Assange going to great lengths to evade a trial does hint that there was an element of truth to the charges.
