  1. The correct reference here would be the Yom Kippur War. Likewise, Netanyahu and his not-so-merry men were caught with their pants down, despite the generals fussing about an imminent Palestinian attack. Netanyahu's unholy coalition will pay a political price, hopefully a steep enough one that banishes them to the opposition (or jail in Netanyahu's case) forever.
