  1. In Finland, we used to call all handguns 'prouninki' after John Moses Browning. My grandfather brought along a Colt revolver when he returned from America. He always referred to it as his prouninki. Likewise, my uncle brought back a Soviet Nagant from the front. Another prouninki.

  2.  @vksasdgaming9472  In French, the T in Nagant is silent. The Russians copied that and we did, too, so it became 'nakani' or 'nakaani'.
