There's another Russian innovation that has taken Ukraine by storm. Russia's tanks have destroyed a great many anti-tank missiles by launching their turrets at them. Admittedly, there are still some kinks to be worked out, like the propellant destroying the tank and killing its crew, but the success rate of the system is very high indeed.

@romanzusman2892 What's sure is that a HIMARS rocket couldn't pull off a caper like this. This malfunctioning missile appears to be guided and highly manoeuvrable, which suggests it's an anti-aircraft missile. If the fins on a HIMARS rocket were somehow damaged or failed to unfold, it would corkscrew or fly in an arc. We can safely assume Blitzkrieg013 has no clue.

@oddettelamazonjones1095 It's typically the rocket motor failing, which means that after clearing the launch tube, the missile drops back onto the launch platform from a relatively shallow height. Here it did work, but the guidance system had a mind of its own. Way more spectacular, in other words.
