  2. It's pretty annoying, being a libertarian, seeing all the socialists trying to act like they're Republicans, so that the Republicans, who are already half socialist, will go full-on socialist, like all the supposedly "conservative" parties in Europe.

  3. None of them are leaving the so-called "left." They just want to keep their liberty while still endorsing socialism. The two are utterly incompatible, but a lot of "former leftists" still think they can have big government, liberty, and prosperity, when the 1st is anathema to the 2nd and 3rd.
