  1. I don't know if it was "Once Bitten" or the HBO or Showtime Laff-Off. Carrey won the Laff-Off and it wasn't even close. This was back when Jerry Seinfeld also won his Laff-Off. When those guys first hit, they were the funniest - in their way - ever. Nobody was really like either one of them. Totally original.
