@deborahhoffman3941 Without U.S. hegemony, Euros won't be able to exploit the 3rd World like they have for centuries. Their empires failed in the 19th Century, and everything since has been trying to hold on to what they had, by having the USA act as their proxy. The USA, for its part, has used Europe to create the illusion that the rest of the world backs its play. I don't think this arrangement has been good for us or our supposed adversaries, let alone our allies. I feel the same way about Israel. USA and Israel think they benefit each other greatly with the current arrangement, but they're dragging each other down.
