  1. I've always wondered why we stopped at 50 states. I'm not one who believes in military adventures on foreign soil. So a condition for fighting on another country's behalf is that country join our union! I wouldn't mind that, although it'd be much better if the whole gave more authority and autonomy to its parts. That's a form of globalism I could get behind. I'd like to see liberalism (classical) grow across the planet that way. "Respect your people's rights and you can be a part of US." If we ran ourselves like an oversized Switzerland with regard to foreign wars (Don't participate!) and just defend our own without compromise, that'd maybe be a better world.
