  6. I'm not. Populism has its dangers as well. Nothing more popular than voting yourself goodies, and therein lies the weakness of our democratic republic. People always vote to be taken care of, and that reverses the power dynamic in favor of the state, at the expense of liberty and eventually prosperity.
