Lots of people in the comments basically admitting that the left has won. "I'm afraid to wear a MAGA hat because I'll be assaulted" is the common refrain. If that's the perception, then we are lost, because NOBODY is holding the bullies accountable. And a lot of people will vote the way the wind appears to be blowing.

LOCAL COPE : I disagree. I can see some cities crashing and burning due to mass stupidity. But how far can it go? They'll starve in a matter of days or weeks. Do you think they'll spread out from the cities and take over the countryside? LOL! These are people who are fundamentally incapable of caring for themselves without a HUGE, global distribution chain supporting them. There are many threats to Western civilization. Antifa in Portland isn't one of them.

@Coldsummer91 : I think there're a LOT of people just biding their time for election day. I have a feeling it's going to be a record landslide for Trump. You don't have to say a word to anybody. Just cast your vote, anonymously, and smugly watch Democrats tear themselves to pieces. Just work on your poker face. Smirks are very triggering to children.

@profk3742 : They've been propped-up in their beliefs by a huge federal subsidy that enabled cities to spend billions and get it all back from federal taxpayers. That free ride has been ended by the current tax code, and those cities already have huge, blighted areas that developed WHILE they were stealing from the rural states and rural communities in their OWN states.

malikail57 : I didn't hear about plans for internment camps. But I have to admit, I saw the iron fist in the velvet glove worn by liberals 30 years ago, when I talked about the slippery slope they were on, and where things might lead. If you got them feeling comfortable enough, they'd talk about sterilizing welfare mothers with more than one baby, and things like that, without even the slightest twinge of conscience telling them how fucked-up that is. To the intellectual liberals, it was pure zero-sum thinking. A matter of managing inputs and outputs, "scientifically," with zero concern for unintended consequences. Just "Here's problem. Hit problem with money we take from over there. Problem solved. (Only problem isn't solved and grows worse, but no matter.) It's a soulless, mechanistic view of reality based on an oversimplified mathematical formula (similar to the CO2-causes-global-warming formula).

@Haunted Tree : Might take the big plunge, next year. Depends on how many coworkers are sporting Bernie-Panders-i-mean-Sanders gear. If others are gearing up with political headgear or t-shirts, so will I. We'll see. I'm getting close to retirement age. Might be worth quite a settlement if I get fired, harassed or attacked for wearing a MAGA hat. But just my luck, I'd be assaulted by someone without a penny to their name, and the company be blameless.
