  1. Mafioso kingpin Vincent Gigante used a similar tactic to avoid prosecution. Acted like a nut case in public, and made a mockery of the courts for decades. No one has ever run for president to avoid prosecution, but that's what Joe did. The 2020 election was all about getting a hatchet man into the oval office, have him do all the dirty work, and then get rid of him. They will be rid of Joe by May or so, and they'll spring a new candidate on us sometime after that. Probably Newsom. But a Newsom who didn't have to debate anybody or be criticized all spring and summer. He'll be the "I'm not Joe and Trump is terrible" candidate for the Democrats. Just wait for it. Biden was an empty suit in 2020. His only reason to run was to control the DOJ, which would otherwise have grounds for prosecuting his many crimes and corruption.

  2. Dems wanted to ram through their agenda AND they knew it would be enormously unpopular after 4 years of such. Joe was the guy who stood to gain more from being president than lose.
