  1. Inflation is much higher than CPI says. Groceries are about double what they were a couple years ago. For Americans making decent money, the gas pump and groceries aren't budget-busters. For people just getting by, groceries and gas are a much bigger chunk of their income. That 8.x% figure is trash. And yes, Styx, inflation compounds.

  2. They own the White House, and just you wait 'til 2024 for the next big crisis. And Operation Warp Speed is going to hurt Trump, big time. But he's sucked all the oxygen in the Republican Party, so they're kind of stuck with him.
