  1. They passed red flag laws because authorities were ignoring people who were demonstrably a danger to themselves and others. That Cruz kid down in Florida was making all kinds of threats for years, and local authorities refused to take action under EXISTING law, because it would hurt their crime statistics. Kids committing and threatening violence were "handled" by school authorities, because turning them over to law enforcement would be recorded as a crime that made the authorities' crime statistics too high. Plus they were afraid of being called racists, because most of the kids acting out in school were too dark brown to be treated equally under the law.

  2.  @mattbarker1411  If people aren't getting along, they shouldn't be together. What needs reforming is the division of property and custody. Men who marry without an ironclad prenuptial agreement are really rolling the dice.
