  1. I remember "the good old days," when a $100 billion deficit was very concerning. Now we just throw $100 billion on top of the $1 trillion we're already borrowing. The annual deficits are 10 times greater and the national debt is about 30 times greater. Interest on the debt, alone is getting close to the entire defense budget or the entire domestic budget, both of which are ridiculously big. Madness. I remember the Constitution talked about posterity. Now our legacy to our children is DEBT!
