  1. Every system creates hierarchies, and every system benefits a small number disproportionately. Inequality is a problem under ANY system. But free-market capitalism is the only system that actually creates some extra wealth and an opportunity for the people at the bottom to actually get ahead. Socialism addresses inequality by force, from on high. Free-market capitalism gives everyone an opportunity to get ahead by their own merit. It also generates extra wealth for more people to HELP the less fortunate. Socialists see that wealth and wants an entitled few in government to decide who gets what.
