  1. Legacy media sucks, but the independents have been piggy-backing off legacy reporting since Day 1. Easy to just criticize the content others produce. While we watch the legacy outlets decline, we're seeing less and less actual reporting. Something needs to change. The White House, for example, needs to open things up to independents, so we have independents at the press conferences and such. We haven't really come up with anything to replace the reporting infrastructure these legacy outfits have and won't be able to afford for much longer.
