I discovered long ago, that when you scratch a liberal, there's some real contempt for their fellow man right underneath the surface. Argue "compassion" all day long, and then you ask them "What if things go South?" Sterilization, police-state controls, take everyone's guns, etc. None of it was out of bounds, if it balanced the books.
