The war is already won. Just sit back and watch them burn themselves to the ground. The total domination of media by a small number of big companies is no more. A small number of creative people can generate high-grade content for pennies on what those big outfits pay. It used to be that when a company was building a big office building, it meant that they were up-and-coming. Now when people see that they ask "Haven't your people ever heard of computers? How about we just rent the Elk's Lodge at Christmas-time, when we're handing out bonuses? How often (if ever) do we need to stuff everybody into one target-rich environment?"

@KainaX122 : It is very difficult to win those kinds of cases, but I think the ones who got sued were very dishonest and took a LONG time to retract their big lead stories. They had to be threatened before they pulled the videos, and a LOT of people to this day still think those Covington kids are Klansmen. Anybody who paid attention to that story knew within 24 hours, from extended cuts, just what the low-down was, but still some green-checked media outlets still had the original story up for weeks, and dragged their feet on publishing retractions. It was low-down and dirty what they did. They had to split hairs on just how deliberate their lying was. But it was plain as the nose on your face that the big click-bait headlines were all false, and the guys that got sued were some of the worst of the lot. I hate that news media can destroy your life and not even have to apologize. They cause real harm, and there seems to be no compensation
