  3. I think the reason he was running was to keep the wolves at bay. The Dems are keen to make a case for election interference, and investigating Biden is something they would LOVE to say is just a political witch hunt, and they've primed the public to buy it with political witch hunting for 3 years straight. It's a shitty strategy, but what else do they have? Japanese knew they would lose if they didn't attack Pearl Harbor. Seems insane in hindsight, but at the time, NOT going to war was also going to be crushing, with the USA appearing to be expanding everywhere in the Far East that the Europeans hadn't, already.
