  1. Nobody who knows how to program a good front-end has put up a platform with nearly as much content. Somebody needs to put it together and create a better product. Bit-Chute's apparently the main alternative, which is pathetic. Everybody bitchin' about YouTube, but nobody really competing with YouTube. Someone needs a model that can start small, and is totally scalable. Inde pendents like Tim Pool might have a chance. If the libertarians are as smart as they think they are, this should be exploding. I'd be interested to hear Styx expand, once more, on what's out there and what's growing. But remember when Jordan Peterson was going to come out with this alternative to PayPal or Patreon, when the payment-processing companies started going woke? I'm still using PayPal. Haven't heard anything since "Coming in 2 weeks." Back in June, I think.

We're really feeling the pinch, now, but I think it's clear to everyone that if they don't destroy the Internet infrastructure, the times we now live in will be seen as the last gasp of centralized power. That's the thing about China, now, too. The old top-down, authoritarian ways need to give way. Too many people are talking to too many people, through social media. Of COURSE they want to shut it down and get us all pissed-off at social media and swear off. But in 100 years, this stuff will be in its proper place. People will be able to get all they want, but it won't dominate their lives, because part of the culture will be not to waste too much time on such nonsense. That behavior is for cripples, like me, who aren't outside, in the garden or away from civilization when they're not earning their daily bread, with a lucky few out there in the woods earning their daily bread. Editor's note: Geez, Mills. Basically saying that if you're anywhere close to fit, you're not spending more than an hour or two a day on this technology outside of work.
