  1. UBI could conceivably eliminate grossly inefficient poverty programs. J. Peter Grace's "negative income tax" proposals were a lot like a UBI. There's not AFDC, WIC, Food Stamps, NOTHING. Just if you make below a certain level, you get a tax rebate that takes you to something like UBI. That right there would cut the transfer payment bill by 70%. As it stands, now, the recipients of benefits receive 30% of the funds allocated. The other 70% goes to Democrats who work in the bureaucracy.

  2. The recipients of government largesse (government contractors, politicians and the very poor) and the bureaucrats in the government. It doesn't take many brainwashed taxpayers to build an unbeatable coalition that parasitizes everything GOOD about your country, until you lose your country.
