@Lue1337 : Yes. And that was one of the key features of Soviet rule. Everyone knew that the bureaucrats were privileged, but they did their best to HIDE it. Nobody owned a car, but all the bureaucrats had government-provided cars. So they didn't OWN any wealth, they just had exclusive use of it! Socialism is always a power grab by the people who think they're gonna be in charge. An example from our own country are luxury junkets to foreign countries, well supplied with the best foods, the best wine, the finest whiskey. Or the gold-plated health care they vote for themSELVES, but put everybody else on something they INSIST is WONDERFUL. Show me a champion of the public schools and I'll show you a politician who sends their kids to private school. Democrats' attitude is "Good enough for thee (and you should be grateful), but not for me."

The maddening thing is they fight for the credit for providing services they didn't spend a nickel of their own to fund. In fact, they get richer with every Free Thing they can think up to give people out of other people's pockets. It's ultimate hypocrisy. And they get away with it.

No. It doesn't form hydrocarbons. The hydrocarbons are already there. Maybe you get longer carbon chains, but the elemental makeup of the hydrocarbons doesn't change. Still carbons and hydrogens...
