  1. The problem for BRICS is that the member states, themselves, are irresponsible about their monetary and fiscal policies. Actually as bad or worse than the USA. Russia has been very responsible, but they're locked in a war with the collective West. To me, it's just a race to the bottom. I think the West breaks before Russia breaks, but the remaining "poles" in this multi-polar world? If we have a cold, they have pneumonia. Brazil? China? Saudi Arabia? Saudi Arabia has lots of money, but it can't get out of its own way.
