Don't over-estimate the memory span of Demokkkrats. This happens every election cycle. Far left to win the nomination and then fake centrism to win the general. All they have to do is create a bad enough impression of Trump for the disparate - and utterly conflicting - interest groups to forget the contradictions and band together to get rid of Orange Man. Personally, I think that this model is in the process of giving way, but I'm not at all sanguine about the certainty of their defeat in the current cycle. One of the lessons from Europe, however, which went a LOT farther into lunacy a LOT quicker than the USA, is that even withOUT constitutional protections of free speech and right to keep and bear arms (the latter making people more brave about exercising the first), the reaction to the lunacy is inevitable. The only question is how far it goes and the resultant level of violence and bloodshed needed for societies to free themselves of the bullshit.

Big corporations love the SJW bullshit because they're big enough to comply and remain competitive; whereas, a small Mom 'n' Pop can't hire 50 lawyers to keep up with the ever-shifting and increasingly-insane demands of the far left, let alone send 50 lobbyists to Washington to tweak the rule set so it ensures the survival and future prosperity of the companies they represent. This is nothing new. Big airlines LOVE the Federal Aviation Administration. Once they subverted THAT agency, we saw a rapid reduction in the number of airline companies to just 3 major companies. I think '3' is the magic number, because it's just enough to give the false impression that \ American Airlines, Continental Airlines and Pan Am Airlines were competing with one another more than they were in cahoots with one another to squeeze out any upstart competition. Dominated for decades. FCC? CBS, NBC and ABC. Decades of dominance. Ted Turner (TNN, CNN, TNT) and Rupert Murdoch took the new-tech cable capabilities and broke in, but CNN and FOX are totally corporate, just like the rest, with a few more truthy stories getting past the gatekeepers at FOX. Such behavior eventually leads to ruin, but it can take decades before the rickety edifice collapses of its own top-heaviness and non-competitive practices.

"I want a gay couple to guard their pot field with automatic weapons." LOL! If that's what they want to do, I'm OK with it, too! This kind of nuance is what the far left are utterly incapable of understanding. But really, it's not all that nuanced. Just very basic principles of liberty, free expression and sovereignty of the individual (to the extent that it's consistent with the sovereignty of every OTHER individual).

@Raimo Raymomdinen : It's no different from the days when Christian fundamentalists were pushing intolerance as the Revealed Truth of God's Wisdom. You can't argue with people like that, but there's an endless supply of scorn and ridicule to be heaped on such people with snowflake-triggering satire. Did the fundamentalist Christians want such speech silenced? You BET they did. In fact, they were the inheritors of a highly conservative society that already censored the mainstream media and do to this day. Can't say "fuck" on CBS to this day! And the tighter those types squeezed, the more sand slipped through their fingers. They HAD control of public schools (teaching nonsense like Manifest Destiny). They PERFECTED the Red Scare, Duck-and-Cover, wrong-speech control system and that was their undoing. One kid smokes a joint, has a mildly enjoyable experience and does NOT become an axe-murderer. The kids that were brought UP under that system of control eventually rebelled AGAINST it. And they were the "cool kids." More and more, in spite of all the best efforts of latter-day public schools to suppress it, the "cool kids" - the "rebels" - are rejecting the left-wingers' attempts to maintain control by the same means as regressive traditionalists of the 1960s.

Don't underestimate the power of religious/spiritual beliefs in improving the lot in life for believers. Islam was good for Malcolm X. I'm not a fan of Islam nor am I a practicing Christian, but both are a major step up from benighted and amoral street hustler!
