DEMOCRATS FOR THE DECEASED! DEAD LIVES MATTER! DEAD LIVES MATTER! ZOMBIE RIGHTS!

And it's about time. They've been ignoring their best and brightest since Day 1. Since they wouldn't listen, they DROVE their best people away. It's sweet karma.

I hope you're right, misanthropikOne. Deplatforming conservative voices is largely to keep its viral message from reaching Democrats' traditional captive bloc.

David McDowell : What makes it glaringly obvious is how yesterday's talking points on MSNBC and CNN are parroted today, like clockwork. They DO have a lot of trained monkeys carrying their message out into the world. Remember when Trump offered to relent on DACA, in return for some money for border security? The Democrats INSTANTLY pivoted to "You're separating children from their families! You BEAST!" It was effortless. It was seamless. And their parrots in the community took up the refrain INSTANTLY, forgetting all about DACA. It's so transparent. It's so PAVLOVIAN. They ring the bell, and their audience slobbers.

TK UA : Shapiro is one of quite a few conservatives who clutch their pearls at Trump's tweets and other comments. They just don't understand the kind of war he's in and how he's fighting back. Ben would be perfectly content being in the minority, making his pithy remarks as an opposition voice of small import. But if you want real change, and you want to do it all legal and above-board, you've got to win the majority to your cause. That requires tearing down every weak-ass meme being pushed by the opposition. When Wellington was taking back the Spanish Peninsula from Napoleon, one of the keys to victory was playing by the rules. The French Army lived off the land. Just took what they wanted, on their way through. The British paid gold for everything they took, and took nothing without consent. This put all the partisans on the British side. Arguably this was the decisive difference. Make no mistake, though. The Dimocrats are in scorched-earth mode. They will say anything and do anything to WIN. They have way more at stake than we do, even. Many in DNC are likely to be in hot water if they don't finagle a majority in both houses of Congress.

Planet Keeper : They will re-make themselves or they will become a permanent minority. Trouble is, the only way to distinguish themselves from Republicans is to push more of their same shit. Identity politics and class envy is their whole schtick, and they can't move away from it without abandoning their core values. It's a tough spot to be in. I don't think the Frankfurt School calculated the end game for their gradual march to Socialism. Right at the finish line, when they THOUGHT they had their ducks in a row, they fell down about 10 yards from the finish line. They THOUGHT they could be openly socialist and push the message of division, unfiltered, for the stretch run, and the crowd started throwing banana peels in their path.

Destructive_Kirby : I think they're more fascist than Socialist/Communist, although the language has been so distorted over the years, nobody understand this. The Welfare State and Free Health Care are essentially fascist features of our system. Hitler didn't need to OWN your business. He told you exactly what to make, how to make it, and how much to make. The only difference between fascists and socialists is ownership of the means of production. But as the John Birch Society taught me 40 years ago, there is zero functional difference between ownership and control. Doesn't matter if you own your factory if you don't control it. And in all other respects, there is zero essential difference between fascism and socialism. They use different slogans. One uses racism to justify what it does. The other uses class envy to justify what it does. But they do the exact same things. Stalin's murder and imprisonment rate amongst Jews was right up there with Hitler's.

Dems would have an easy time seizing the majority in both houses, if they just moved back towards the middle. If they did that, then historical forces that sweep the opposition to power in the 1st midterm election of any president's term. George II was the only one who didn't lose out in the midterms, but we were at war at the time (although Congress STILL made no declaration, which, imo, made the Iraqi War unConstitutional.)

Matthew Sobke : Yes. This is exactly how technocrats think. The system exists for THEM, and not the people they work for. It tells you all you need to know about these virtue-signaling bastards. "Do as we say and don't look behind the curtain."

Me, too. Although he gives me flashbacks with his getup.

Dick Morris says that 4% behind in those polls is the breakeven for Republicans, because the net sum of the gerrymandering in Republican-held states. It's supposed to be wrong, but majority parties in individual states are shameless about how they re-district their states. Both parties do it.

james wazalis : Stay away from that God juice!

We need to match or surpass their intensity, without being total jackasses about it.

Meh. It's a spot of purple that rapidly disappears in the Red Tide.
