I've been following this for years. I have a lot of respect for Islam. I also insist on the right to free expression, even when it offends me, and I think Muslims who commit violent acts in response to any depiction of the prophet Muhammad is something I cannot abide. Condemn it with words and art, if you want, but violence - and the THREAT of violence - should not be tolerated. Any Muslim who can't handle it shouldn't take History of Art. Any Muslim who commits violence over this should be punished to the full extent of the law.
