  3. Child separation was a trumped-up issue after Trump took the legs out from under open-borders idiots by offering compromise on DACA, in return for some actual border control. So then it was a race to find Obama-era photographs of children in holding facilities so they could be outraged against Trump. If it's not the Spotted Owl, it's the Snail-Darter. Leftists never stop. They just pivot on a dime to the last made-up issue to the NEXT made-up issue. The question is: "What will you be outraged about, tomorrow, when your last mole-hill-turned-mountain is debunked?"

  5. I'm one who voted for cuckoo Gary Johnson, rather than Trump or Clinton. But Trump's pushed a lot of things in the right direction, as far as I'm concerned. He's been far better on the major issues than I ever thought possible. I'd like to see more from him on checking the unchecked expansion of size and role of government, and the assault on the U.S. Constitution by power-hungry, virtue-signaling assholes.

  6. Media + Government have been a toxic mix since before WW II. We scoffed at the Germans at their uncritical acceptance of government propaganda, but we've been ginning up government propaganda in the name of "objective reporting" for close to a century. The press has NEVER been disinterested reporters of facts. They ALWAYS have an axe to grind. Objective media is a MYTH, and protections in the U.S. Constitution are ONLY to prevent the silencing of opposing views. And we've been silencing dissenting views, by various means, since before I was born. They CALL it a free press, but the major outlets have been controlled by a very small number of people, with deep connections to government and big business since forever.
