U.S. Intelligence Community has been lying - or just plain getting it wrong - for DECADES. You should read Robert Heinlein's "Expanded Universe." ONe section of the book discussed his wife's and his trip to Soviet Russian. His wife learned Russian and talked to all the moms. Heinlein was a logistics guy in WW II, and he surveyed the port facilities. So he knew how many ships of what size that a port could handle. By his wife's informal quizzing of babushkas and his own logistics expertise, he estimated back in the early 1970s that the Soviet Threat was exaggerated by close to a factor of 10. But to hear all the neocons and neolibs of the day, the Soviets were this BEHEMOTH, with a GIANT NAVY. Turned out, not so much. More recently: Iraq. More recently, yet: Libya. Currently: Syria. Next up: Iran. These bastards have gotten it wrong every time on virtually EVERYthing that matters, since most people reading this were born.

Think of all the stories that didn't get reported because MSM were racing from one Fake News story on Trump after another, since November, 2016. It would've started, sooner, but they underestimated his chances to win the election.
